To Lip Ring, or Not to Lip Ring?

For future reference, if you're looking at a thing to be turned, the rhyme applies. If you're standing behind it, reverse the rhyme. I'm in liberal arts for a reason.

I think I want to lose the lip ring. I'm 27 years old, it's probably time to continue downsizing. First that awful brow ring, now the lip ring? I bought a micro nostril screw today, and I'm pretty excited about it. I think I'll still have enough piercings and tattoos left to maintain 'hardcore credibility' for the time being. I'm pretty grossed out by the lip ring on other people - as hypocritical as it sounds, I won't buy something from someone with a lip ring. Speaking as someone looking to enter the retail arena this summer, that's probably a telling observation.

Does anyone else have an opinion?
